Book Your DemoFrequently asked questions
- What is QAR and how is it calculated?
- QAR (Qualification Achievement Rate) measures the proportion of apprentices who achieve their apprenticeship out of all those who were expected to complete in a given year. It combines a retention element and a pass element: leavers who achieve, divided by all leavers in the cohort. Because it is calculated on leavers rather than starts, your QAR position for a given year is largely determined long before it is published.
- Can I see my QAR position before the official publication?
- Yes. AiVII calculates your live QAR position continuously from your own learner data, broken down by programme, employer, coach or any other dimension, so you know where you stand every day rather than waiting for the national publication.
- How does AiVII get my achievement data?
- AiVII integrates directly with Bud, Aptem and OneFile, so achievement and progress data flows automatically with no manual uploads or spreadsheet exports. Other systems can be supported on request.
- How does QAR scenario modelling work?
- Scenario modelling shows the impact on your final QAR if specific at-risk learners do not achieve, with named learner lists behind every figure. That lets you see which interventions would move the number most, and prioritise accordingly.
- Does AiVII replace my e-portfolio or MIS?
- No. AiVII is a provider management system, not a learner management system. Your e-portfolio, MIS and delivery systems stay exactly where they are, AiVII wraps around them, adding the reporting, forecasting and assurance you need to run the provision. No rip-and-replace.
